Need Help Deciding?
For most sleepers, we recommend the Amerisleep AS3 over the Helix Midnight Luxe. Our catalog rates it higher for cooling, motion isolation, pressure relief; check current linked-seller prices and terms before deciding on value. The Helix Midnight Luxe is the better choice only if you have a strong preference for that brand's specific feel or design.

Amerisleep AS3
Strengths
- ✓Three inches of Bio-Pur and two inches of HIVE reverse AS2's 2/3-inch comfort-to-transition ratio, giving AS3 more surface contour while keeping the same 12-inch height and seven-inch Bio-Core base
- ✓The five-zone HIVE cuts provide firmer response beneath the head, back, and legs and more give beneath the shoulders and hips according to Amerisleep's current construction description
- ✓Choose AS3 Foam over AS3 Hybrid for quieter, steadier all-foam contour and the lower current catalog price; choose Hybrid for spring response, support-core airflow, and a stronger perimeter
- ✓The solid-foam support core avoids connected coil movement, a practical construction advantage for couples who prioritize motion isolation over bounce
Considerations
- —Strict stomach sleepers and many sleepers over 230 pounds should compare the medium-firm AS2 or coil-supported AS3 Hybrid before choosing this medium foam design
- —All-foam AS3 has less perimeter reinforcement and through-bed airflow than AS3 Hybrid's eight-inch zoned pocketed-coil core
- —Amerisleep's seven-degree Refresh comparison, cooling, recovery, circulation, alignment, pressure, pain, motion, edge, and durability statements are manufacturer or construction evidence rather than SleepRanked lab results
Helix Midnight Luxe
Strengths
- ✓The seller-described Medium feel is a starting point for assessing cushioning and support
- ✓The Euro-top surface gives shoppers a defined top style to compare with flatter alternatives
- ✓The listing describes foam comfort over individually wrapped coil support
- ✓Published Queen dimensions help plan sheet depth, bed height and delivery access
Considerations
- —The cover descriptions and coil counts conflict within the reviewed listing; ask the seller to confirm the exact build
- —The reviewed offer is Queen; do not assume the same link selects another size
- —The observed 30-day return panel differs from advertised 120-night trial wording
