Listed features, advertised feel, seller terms, and who each mattress may suit.
Find your best fit
Start with these listed features, advertised feel, and seller terms, then consider how they fit your preferences. The detailed comparison below covers shared features, differences, and questions to confirm before choosing either mattress.
Why it matters: There is no combined product in this comparison. Verify the model and size on the destination page before treating either current offer as yours.
Why it matters: Avocado's spring unit adds lift and easier repositioning. ProAdapt spends its construction on close, slower-conforming foam pressure relief and motion absorption. Neither feel is an automatic upgrade for every sleeper.
Why it matters: Choose Avocado if the independently certified organic-material build is a requirement. Choose ProAdapt if the distinctive TEMPUR contouring feel matters more. Certification scope is product-specific.

Buy Avocado Green Medium when organic latex, responsive coils, and easier movement are the reason you are shopping. Buy TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium when the slow, close TEMPUR foam feel and motion absorption are the reason. These are separate products sold by separate manufacturers; open the matching current-offer card above and verify its exact variant, price, and direct-store return terms before checkout.
The names in this comparison belong to two different mattresses: Avocado Green is Avocado's organic latex-and-coil model, while TEMPUR-ProAdapt Medium is Tempur-Pedic's all-foam model. If you searched for a 'Tempurpedic Green mattress,' use the two product cards above to confirm which one you mean before buying. Each card's shopping button opens the exact model at its own manufacturer store. Check the selected size, current price, delivery, trial, and return terms on that seller's checkout page.
Choose by feel first: Avocado's latex and coils rebound when you move, while ProAdapt's TEMPUR material contours more slowly. The difference matters more than a dated price gap or a shared color word.
Why it matters
The live cards are the price authority. Manufacturer policies apply to eligible direct orders only; confirm checkout terms instead of borrowing the other brand's trial.
Use the differences above to match the mattress to the way you sleep. Each model has a clear reason to buy. When one costs less, choose it if it already delivers the feel, support, and temperature control you want. Pay more when the added material or feature gives you a benefit you expect to notice every night.
Both mattresses can be a strong purchase. These are the clearest strengths you gain and the compromises you accept with each one.

Published construction details and claims are from Avocado Green's product, material, and trial specifications and Tempur-Pedic's ProAdapt collection and Medium configuration. SleepRanked checked the official product descriptions and selected shopping destinations on September 29, 2026. The Avocado link selects Green Queen Medium Tight-Top; the Tempur-Pedic link selects ProAdapt Medium all-foam. Feel and movement guidance is an inference from the published constructions, not a SleepRanked lab comparison.
