Pros & Cons
Pros
- + The literal comfort stack uses two inches of soft Talalay latex over one inch of medium Talalay latex, creating a buoyant medium surface without slow memory-foam sink
- + The eight-inch pocketed-coil unit adds airflow, targeted support, motion separation, and a firmer perimeter beneath the responsive latex
- + Material-specific evidence is unusually clear: the latex lists OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Rainforest Alliance, and eco-INSTITUT, while the wool lists OEKO-TEX and the FAQ additionally states GOTS
- + Choose Medium before Plush when a 6/10 feel and three inches of latex are enough; it keeps the same core materials without the attached three-inch box top
Cons
- - The springy latex-and-coil response transfers more rebound than a slow all-foam mattress and may not suit shoppers who want a deep memory-foam cradle
- - The material certifications have different scopes and should not be read as every component or the complete mattress carrying every listed certification
- - A box spring or slats wider than three inches can void coverage under the published support requirements
- - Amerisleep allows an eligible direct return after the first 30 nights of its 100-night trial; its 20-year warranty changes to a 50% replacement credit in years 11 through 20 and covers qualifying impressions only when they exceed 1.5 inches
