Pros & Cons
Pros
- + It is the deepest and softest Grand Luxe model, with the collection's highest published latex depth and AvoSpring maximum
- + Three inches of responsive latex distinguish it from the two-inch Series 13000 before accounting for the taller upholstery package
- + Ultra Plush targets dedicated side sleepers and luxury shoppers who deliberately want maximum surface give
- + Choose Series 17000 when its extra inch of latex, 4,000-spring maximum increase, and deeper contour justify the $2,700 current Queen premium over Series 13000
Cons
- - Ultra Plush is a specialized feel that can let the hips settle too deeply for many stomach and firm-feel back sleepers
- - At 19.25 inches, the mattress creates an unusually tall bed, requires compatible sheets, and can be difficult to rotate or move
- - Avocado does not publish the exact configuration-specific layer sequence, per-unit spring counts, or coil gauge behind the up-to-17,000 label
- - The 10% Grand Luxe return fee represents a large deduction at this price, and original delivery or setup charges are also nonrefundable
